Terms of Service
Last updated 11 October 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and DevNome (Pvt) Ltd ("DevNome", "we", "us") about your use of the Streamling desktop app, your Streamling account, Premium subscriptions, the website and dashboard, and related services (together, the "Service"). The End User License Agreement ("EULA"), Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy form part of these Terms. The refund terms are in section 6.
You accept these Terms by ticking the box when you create an account, or by using the Service. Accepting electronically is binding, including under Sri Lanka's Electronic Transactions Act No. 19 of 2006. If you use Streamling for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Who can use Streamling
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you and is responsible for your use of the Service.
- You must not be prohibited from using the Service by law, including sanctions laws (see section 25).
- Each account is for one person, and the information you give us must be accurate.
Your account
- Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at info@devnome.com if you think someone else has used it.
- Streamling works on one device at a time. Signing in on another device signs the first one out.
- Accounts may not be sold, shared or transferred. We may act against accounts created to abuse Free features or limits.
The Service
- Features differ between platforms and depend on what each platform provides.
- We may add, change or remove features, including Free and Premium features, to improve the Service, for security or legal reasons, or because a platform changed. If a change significantly reduces the Premium features you have paid for, you may cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part of your current billing period.
- Features marked beta or preview are provided as they are and may change or stop.
- Some features need an internet connection. Some information is saved on your PC first and uploaded later, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Premium
5.1 Plans and prices
- Monthly: USD 9.99 per month.
- Yearly: USD 107.89 per year. This is 10% less than 12 monthly payments (USD 119.88), a saving of USD 11.99.
- Prices are in US dollars. Tax may be added depending on where you live; checkout shows the total before you pay.
- We may offer coupons or promotions, which have their own conditions. We do not currently offer free trials.
5.2 Paddle
Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") is our authorised reseller and merchant of record. You buy Premium from Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Paddle handles payment, invoices, sales tax and VAT, and refunds.
5.3 Automatic renewal
Premium renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price that applies then, until you cancel. You authorise Paddle to charge your payment method at each renewal. Where the law requires, we will remind you before a yearly renewal.
5.4 Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the app (Settings → Plan → Manage subscription) or the website. Cancelling stops future renewals; Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting your account also stops future renewals, but is not a refund request (see section 6).
5.5 Changing plans
If you switch between monthly and yearly, the change takes effect as shown at checkout, or at your next renewal.
5.6 Failed payments
Paddle may retry a failed payment. If it cannot be collected, Premium may be paused or your account may return to the Free plan.
5.7 Price changes
We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your renewal. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before your next renewal.
5.8 Pricing and order errors
If a price or offer is shown incorrectly because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order, even after it has been confirmed, and refund what you paid. If an error gives an account Premium access that was not paid for, we may remove that access.
Refunds
- 14-day refunds: you can get a full refund of any Premium payment, whether the first payment or a renewal, monthly or yearly, if you ask within 14 days of being charged. No reason is needed.
- After 14 days: payments are not refundable and we do not give partial refunds, except where the law requires, under section 4 or section 18, or for billing mistakes.
- Billing mistakes: if you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount, tell us and we will refund it whenever you notice.
- How to ask: reply to your Paddle receipt email, use Manage subscription, or contact info@devnome.com. Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. Any tax you paid is refunded too.
- After a refund: the refunded subscription ends straight away, and the account returns to the Free plan. Your Pals, settings and community data are kept.
- When we may refuse: where there is evidence of fraud, repeated misuse of refunds, or a chargeback for the same payment.
- Your legal rights: this policy gives at least the cancellation rights that consumers in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom have for digital services, and does not limit rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded, including Sri Lanka's Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003.
6.1 Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank. If a payment is charged back, Premium may end and we may suspend the account until the matter is resolved.
Points, levels and other in-app rewards
- Loyalty points, XP, levels, quests, achievements, community levels, unlocks and similar items ("Virtual Items") are game features. They have no monetary value and are not money, property, a deposit, a payment instrument or a prize. You do not own them.
- Virtual Items cannot be bought from DevNome, and cannot be sold, traded or exchanged for money or anything of value, inside or outside Streamling.
- Streamers control the points on their channel, including how points are earned, reward prices and moderator grants. Streamers must not sell points or use them for gambling or paid lotteries. Any real-world prize a streamer offers is the streamer's sole responsibility and must comply with the law and platform rules.
- We may adjust, correct, reset or remove Virtual Items, including any affected by bugs, outages, abuse or cheating, and we may change how they work. No compensation or refund is owed for the loss or change of Virtual Items.
- Mini-games and Boss Battles are free to play and award only Virtual Items.
What appears on your stream
- You are responsible for everything that appears or is said on your stream through Streamling, including rewards, alerts, chat bot messages and lines the Pal speaks.
- Some rewards let viewers type text that the Pal shows or speaks. Streamling filters this text, but no filter is perfect. You choose whether to offer these rewards and are responsible for moderating them.
- The Pal's voice is computer-generated. Do not use it to impersonate real people or to mislead viewers.
- You are responsible for who you make a moderator. Moderators can give and take points.
- Chat bot messages are off until you turn them on. Platforms and our rate limits may delay or drop messages, and we may limit or turn off chat posting to protect the Service or follow platform rules.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so;
- harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone, or share hateful, sexually explicit or violent content that platform rules or the law prohibit;
- send spam, deceive viewers or impersonate anyone;
- get around Free or Premium limits, licence checks, rate limits or security measures;
- access, probe, overload or interfere with our systems or other people's accounts or data;
- copy, scrape or automate access to the Service except through the app as designed;
- reverse engineer the software, except where the law expressly allows it;
- extract, copy, redistribute or sell Streamling assets, or resell or share Premium;
- upload content you do not have the rights to, or that contains malware;
- break the terms of any platform you connect.
Third-party services
- Streamling works with services such as Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Streamlabs, Discord, OBS, Paddle and GitHub. Their terms apply when you use them, and you must follow them, including the YouTube Terms of Service when you connect YouTube.
- These services can change or stop features, APIs or access at any time. We do not control them and do not promise that any integration will keep working.
- We are not responsible for action a platform takes against your account, such as a suspension, ban or loss of monetisation, arising from your use of that platform or your stream's content.
- Disconnecting a platform in Streamling removes the login from your PC. You can also remove access in the platform's own settings.
Your content
- "Your Content" means the rewards, settings, overlay layouts, alert wording, images, sounds and other material you create or add in Streamling. You keep ownership of it.
- You confirm you have the rights needed for Your Content and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.
- You give DevNome a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service. The licence lasts while Your Content is in the Service, and for a limited time afterwards where needed for legal or backup purposes.
- Most of Your Content stays on your PC. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or the law.
- If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
- If you believe something in the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, email info@devnome.com with the details. We will act on valid notices.
Streamling assets and intellectual property
- DevNome or its licensors own the Service, including the software, the Streamling name and logo, the Pals, character models, animations, outfits, props, sounds, artwork and website. Third-party and open-source components are licensed as described in the Open Source Notices. Your rights to use the software are set out in the EULA.
- You may use the Pals and other assets as they appear through Streamling in live streams, recorded videos, clips, thumbnails and social posts promoting your channel, including content you earn money from, and in non-commercial fan art. Content you have published can stay published after your account ends.
- You may not, without our written permission: make merchandise; use the assets as a logo or brand identity; sell or license the assets; extract, modify or redistribute asset files; use the assets to train AI models; or suggest that DevNome endorses you.
- Platform names and logos belong to their owners. Streamling is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Updates
Streamling may download and install updates automatically. Some updates may be required to keep using the Service, for security, or because a platform changed. We may stop supporting older versions.
Availability and support
We aim to keep Streamling working, but we do not promise it will be available at all times, including during your streams. There may be maintenance, and there may be outages caused by us, our providers, the platforms or your internet connection. Support is available to all users by email; Premium users may receive priority. We do not guarantee a response within a set time.
Your data and backups
Some information is stored on your PC and some in your account, as the Privacy Policy explains. Keep your own copies of anything important. We are not responsible for losing information stored on your PC, or information that was not uploaded because of connection problems, device failure, uninstalling or deleting data. If we lose account information through our own fault, we will make reasonable efforts to restore it from any backups available, and section 20 applies.
Suspension and termination
- You can stop using Streamling and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or end your access, with notice where reasonable and lawful, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, for fraud or chargebacks, to comply with the law or a platform's requirements, or to protect users, viewers or the Service.
- If we end your access without any such reason, we will refund prepaid Premium time you have not used.
- When your access ends, your licences end and you must stop using Streamling. Sections 7, 11, 12, 15 and 19 to 27, and the Annex, continue to apply for as long as needed.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless it must take effect sooner for legal or security reasons. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account before the change takes effect. If a change significantly reduces your rights and you cancel Premium before it takes effect, we will refund prepaid Premium time you have not used.
If Streamling shuts down
If we permanently stop providing Streamling, we will try to give at least 60 days' notice and a chance to export your information, and we will refund prepaid Premium time you have not used. Information will be deleted about 30 days after the shutdown, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE, ALL VIRTUAL ITEMS AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". DEVNOME DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR FREE OF ERRORS OR BUGS; THAT IT WILL WORK DURING ANY PARTICULAR STREAM OR WITH ANY PARTICULAR PLATFORM, HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR NETWORK; THAT ANY INFORMATION, STATISTICS, POINTS OR PROGRESS WILL BE ACCURATE OR WILL NOT BE LOST; OR THAT ANY FILTER WILL CATCH ALL UNWANTED TEXT. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR STREAM'S AUDIENCE, INCOME OR STANDING WITH ANY PLATFORM.
Some places do not allow certain warranties to be excluded. In those places, these exclusions apply only as far as the law allows, and you keep any rights that cannot be excluded.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) DEVNOME AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, STREAMING OR SPONSORSHIP INCOME, AUDIENCE, FOLLOWERS, GOODWILL, DATA OR VIRTUAL ITEMS, OR FOR ANY PLATFORM SUSPENSION OR BAN, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE; AND (B) DEVNOME'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR STREAMLING IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, AND USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct where the law does not allow it to be limited, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care, but not for loss that was not foreseeable.
Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you will defend and compensate DevNome and its directors, employees and contractors against claims brought by others, and the resulting damages, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees), arising from your stream, Your Content, text or actions you allow on your stream, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of the law, anyone else's rights or a platform's terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own breach or negligence, or where the law does not allow such an obligation for consumers.
Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages of the internet, hosting providers or platforms, changes to platform APIs, power failures, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action, cyber attacks or epidemics.
Time limit for claims
To the extent the law allows, any claim relating to the Service must be brought within one year after the cause of the claim arose.
Governing law and disputes
- These Terms, and any dispute or claim relating to them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
- The courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction, with Colombo as the venue.
- Before starting legal proceedings, please contact us and allow 30 days to resolve the matter informally, except where urgent relief is needed.
- If you are a consumer, this section does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where that law allows.
Sanctions and export
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to comprehensive sanctions and are not on a government list of restricted persons, and you agree not to use the Service in breach of export control or sanctions laws.
General
- Entire agreement: these Terms, with the EULA, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and DevNome about the Service. Paddle's Buyer Terms govern your purchase from Paddle.

- No waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Transfer: we may transfer these Terms to a successor or another company in connection with a reorganisation, merger or sale, with notice to you. You may not transfer them without our written consent.
- Notices: we may give you notices in the app or by email to the address on your account. You can give us notices at the contact details below.
- Language: these Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience, and the English version applies if they differ.

- Interpretation: "including" means "including without limitation", and headings are for convenience only.

Annex: Data processing terms for viewer information
This Annex applies where you, as a streamer, are the controller of your viewers' personal information and DevNome processes it on your behalf to provide the Service (see section 6 of the Privacy Policy). It is intended to meet Article 28 of the GDPR and UK GDPR and the processor requirements of Sri Lanka's PDPA.
- What and why: we process your viewers' platform, username, first and last seen times, activity and reward counts, XP, level, points, quest and achievement progress, streaks and short activity entries, only to provide Streamling's community features for your channel, for as long as you use the Service. We do not intend to process special categories of personal information.
- Your instructions: we process viewer information only to provide the Service as you set it up, and on your other documented instructions, unless the law requires otherwise. If it does, we will tell you first unless the law forbids that.
- Confidentiality and security: anyone at DevNome with access is bound by confidentiality, and we protect the information with the measures in section 12 of the Privacy Policy.
- Sub-processors: you authorise Supabase (database and hosting, Japan). We bind sub-processors to data-protection terms like these, and stay responsible for them. We will give notice of new sub-processors as described in section 17; if you object, you may stop using the Service.
- Helping you: the Viewers page lets you find, correct and delete viewer records. We will help you respond to viewers' requests, and help with security, breach notifications and impact assessments, as far as is reasonable given the information available to us.
- Breaches: we will tell you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting your viewers' information.
- Deletion: when you delete a viewer or your account, we delete the records as described in section 9 of the Privacy Policy.
- Showing compliance: we will give you the information reasonably needed to show we meet this Annex. Any audit beyond that needs reasonable notice, happens at most once a year, and is at your cost.
- Transfers: viewer information is transferred abroad only as described in section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
